Saratoga Springs is the ideal location for Oilheat Expo 2000. It lies in the heart of Oilheat County... less than an hour's drive from upstate New York's North Country, Capital District and the Mohawk Valley as well as Vermont and Western Massachusetts. We're a key market for heating oil and related products and equipment! The Oil Heat Institute of New York has presented it's trade show in 1986, 1988, 1990, and 1992... NEFI's "off years." Our shows have always been successful in that exhibitors kept returning to occupy our optimum number of booths; about 105. Attendance and vendor sales justified continued participation. Since 1992, we have devoted our resources to conversion opportunities with and emphasis on electric-to-oil campaignes. During this rime, trackable promotional programs in '94, '95, and '96 generated identifiable incremental equipment sales (burners/boiler and burner/furnace combinations) of approximately 3,800 units. This period of promotional focus saw an increase in OHI/ENY membership and increased member participation in our programs. We beleive that the year 2000 is the right time to revive the trade show tradition. NORA, we expect, will be in place. Industry funding for Oilheat research, education, and promotion will trigger more consistant and effective campaigns that will inprove Oilheat's market share in our energy markets. OHI of Eastern New York has remained aggressive through a long period of uncertain funding for this kind of activity. We are poised to take full advantage of this new tool to push Oilheat's market share back over the 50% mark... for starters. Our membership is ready, too. Because our groups has remained active and innovative over the past 35-years, our member companies don't have to go through a "startup" period to participate in the renewed vigor our industry is about to experience. We're ready to go! There will be approximately 100 8'x10' booths available. In addition, there will be some truck spaces and foyer space offered. Space prices, City Center layout and full exhibitor information will be mailed in approximately 3 months. A program summary appears above. Names and topics will be added as presenters accept our invitation to participate. Matterson Associate, Inc. has again been selected as Show Manager. This assures us that the show will function smoothly as always. One of the changes we have made in planning Oilheat Expo 2000 is the retention of Campbell-MacLeod Associates as Promotion Manager. This puts an emphasis on show attendance by industry professionals from companies within 2 hours travel time of Saratoga Springs. We expect to double the average attendance of our previous shows. If you are interested, please print out the Response Mailer located at the link below. It will help both your company and OHI/ENY in three ways:
